Three killed, 5 injured as government impose 24-hour curfew in Plateau state [ GRAPHIC PHOTO]

There was pandemonium in Bokkos LGA of Plateau State following Thursday’s protest by some youths over the brutal murder of the Saf Ron Kulere and Chairman Bokkos Traditional Council, Mr. Lazarus Agai and three others. Daily Post gathered reliably that as a result of a protest by youths who blocked the major
road leading to Bokkos Town, security operatives under the Operation Safe Haven opened fire on rampaging youths, killing three of them and injuring five others.
The imposition of the curfew was confirmed by the Media Officer of Operation Safe Haven, OPSH, Captain Ikedichi Iweha.
On the killing of the three youths, the Spokesman of the OPSH confirmed that three youths were killed.
According to him, the security operatives were firing in the air to scare the youths away, but the youths fired back at them, leading to the killing of some of them.
