Man recovering after his mistress's husband chopped off his manhood and threw it away

A man is recovering in hospital after his mistress's husband allegedly chopped off his manhood and slung it away. His relatives found it two hours later more than 200 feet away in a street after coaxing his attacker to reveal what he did with it. A team of surgeons including Nguyen Van Dong then took half a day to reattach it to the unnamed 32-year-old. Doctors at Bac Giang General Hospital said it would take a while before they knew whether the surgery to reattach the severed penis was a success.

Dr Nguyen Van Dong said: 'The patient's condition is stable.

'But it will take some days to learn if the function returns to the victim's genitalia.'

Huan is being held on charges of 'deliberately inflicting injuries'.
