Friends lured man to bush, plucked eyes out in Bauchi

A 27-year-old man, Emmanuel Husseini, has cried out for justice over the inhuman treatment meted on him by some persons alleged to be his friends in Bauchi State. His friends, who are reportedly on the run, were
said to have lured him to a bush in a village, Marti Local, Tafawa Balewa in the state and allegedly plucked out his eyes.
Although the reason for the act is yet to be ascertained, the state police spokesman, Haruna Mohammed, told newsmen the police has launched a manhunt for the suspects.
Meanwhile, Husseini has begged the police and well-meaning Nigerians to come to his rescue.-Daily Post
