Guardiola confirms Iheanacho is fit for West Ham clash

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has revealed that Kelechi Iheanacho is back in training and is available for selection against West Ham on Sunday, Daily Post reports. The Nigerian international looked
to have picked up a hamstring injury, in their Champions League play-off victory over Steaua Bucuresti on Wednesday.

But Guardiola insists it was a ‘scare’ and Iheanacho has resumed training with the squad.

No injuries from midweek. Kelechi was almost nothing so it was a scare but he’s fine,” Guardiola told journalists at his pre-match press conference.

“Everybody’s fit and ready – we trained with 30 players today.”

City will be looking to extend their perfect start under Guardiola against the Hammers, who are currently 9th on the table.
