Moors Murderer Ian Brady has revealed the admiration he holds for terrorist suicide bombers - and how he hopes they target Britain. The twisted psychopath is praying ISIS jihadis maim and kill as many Brits as possible in an attack 'bigger and better' than those seen in Paris and Brussels. In fresh letters sent from his
dingy jail cell, the 78-year-old shared his satisfaction at the growing number of deadly strikes being carried out by Muslim extremists on the western world.
On the subject of suicide bombers, Brady - serving three life sentences for the murders of five young children in the 1960s - penned: 'I'm glad I've lived to see an enemy prepared to die for something other than their bank balance.'
Considering the prospect of the UK being targeted with an attack similar to those which killed hundreds in France and Belgium, Brady - in notes seen by The Sun - said: 'I sincerely hope it is.
'The bigger the better.'
Ian Brady and his partner, Myra Hindley, were responsible for the murders of five youngsters in the 1960s.
They lured children and teenagers to their deaths, with their victims sexually tortured before being buried on Saddleworth Moor above Manchester.
Pauline Reade, 16, disappeared on her way to a disco on July 12 1963 and John Kilbride, 12, was snatched in November the same year.
Keith Bennett, 12, was taken on June 16 1964 after he left home to visit his grandmother, Lesley Ann Downey, 10, was lured away from a funfair on Boxing Day 1964, and Edward Evans, 17, was killed in October 1965.
Brady was given life at Chester Assizes in 1966 for the murders of John, Lesley Ann and Edward.
Hindley was convicted of killing Lesley Ann and Edward and shielding Brady after John's murder, and jailed for life.
In 1987 the pair finally admitted killing Keith and Pauline. Hindley died in prison aged 60 in 2002.
Brady, 78, remains bed-ridden there having been on a hunger strike for 15 years.
He is force fed a liquid nitrogen mix through a tube but Brady's friend Dr Keightley claims the killer is now close to the death he has longed for.
Brady is desperate to die after half a century behind bars. He has given up every hobby he had acquired while in jail, never leaves his cell and refuses to even open his curtains.
The only luxury he ever enjoyed was cigarettes, but was forced to quit his 40-a-day habit when the smoking ban was introduced in July 2007.
