The defender looked as if he was
ready to quit the Stamford Bridge outfit this summer, with a move to the MLS or
China mooted Dailypost reports
But last week, the Blues offered him
a new deal to extend his stay in West London.
“I am delighted to sign a new
contract with the club,” he said.
“Everyone knows I’m Chelsea through
and through.
“I am looking forward to next season
under the new manager and hopefully we can make it a successful one.
