North Korea has built a replica of South Korea's presidential Blue House to launch a mock attack - the
South's military has said. Seoul said the North's military had been detected constructing the half-sized replica at its Daiwonri artillery range near Pyongyang.
An official said: "The North is apparently preparing to showcase a mock attack on the Blue House using the replica as a target."
Madcap dictator Kim Jong-Un has been stirring up hostility with the South with repeated threats of nuclear strikes and missile attacks.
Earlier this month, North Korea released a propaganda video portraying multiple rocket attacks on the Blue House and other government buildings in Seoul. South Korea has previously stated their neighbour has successfully created miniaturised nuclear warheads.
North Korea says submarine ballistic missile test 'great success'
Kim, 33, was recently pictured standing next to what was thought to be a miniaturised weapon.
Miniaturisation is achieved when the nuclear warhead weighs less than 2,200 lb and the diameter of the bomb measures 35 inches or less.
In state media, Kim was quoted as saying: "We must always be ready to fire our nuclear warheads at any time."Now, a South Korean government report has confirmed the miniaturised 660lb nuclear warhead is at his disposal.
The National Assembly Research Service said the warheads could be mounted on missiles.
It is feared North Korea now had between eight and 20 miniaturised warheads.
The claims came as the US senate was warned it is only a matter of time before Kim had long-range missiles capable of hitting America and Japan.
US President Barack Obama said in an interview aired on Tuesday that there "was no easy solution" to the North Korean threat and while the United States "could destroy North Korea with our arsenals", there would not only be humanitarian costs but also potential impact on South Korea.
North Korea is currently under UN sanctions over its weapons programme.-Mirror
