6 Signs You’re Badly Dehydrated And Need Water IMMEDIATELY

6 Signs You’re Badly Dehydrated And Need Water IMMEDIATELY
Your body is about 70-80% water. Your muscles use it to move, your kidneys use it to filter out toxins – every organ in your body requires water in order to function properly. This makes dehydration an especially dangerous thing to toy with. On average, man should drink 3 liters and women should drink 2.2 liters of water every day. Here’s what to watch for:

Dark Urine

Darkened urine is the first sign that something is wrong. Your pee should be a light yellow color. If it’s much darker, it could mean your urine is concentrated with bodily waste, like dead blood cells, proteins, and other toxins. Some medications cause dark urine, as well as B vitamins, beets, and blackberries.

Infrequent Urination

Dehydration can lead to infrequent urination. Normally, people pee about 6 to 8 times per day. If you’re urinating less than 6 times a day, increase your water intake.

Constipation

Constipation is sometimes caused by dehydration. With insufficient water in the body, some is removed from the colon to use elsewhere, causing stools to be harder.

Wrinkles

When you’re dehydrated, your skin becomes dryer and wrinkles become more pronounced.

Hunger And Weight Gain

When thirsty, the body will sometimes send hunger signals, as food often contains water which is what the body really needs. If you’ve recently eaten but you feel hunger again, try drinking a big glass of water. It may be thirst.

Dry Mouth

Dry mouth is not the first sign the body is dehydrated. Often it’s a last-ditch effort to get your attention and drink some water. If you’re thirsty, you’re already dehydrated.
