A woman murdered her husband and another couple after finding the three in bed together, police said.
Crystal Gambino put at least one of the bodies in a wheelbarrow and took the corpse to the garden to burn
it, according to police .
After the triple murder, Gambino picked up her daughter from school.
When police arrived at her home in North Carolina they found the naked bodies of her husband Giovanni “Gio” Gambino along with 33-year-old Stephanie Lynn Sanchez and Glenn Gilliland, 39.
The embittered wife, 42, is said to have shot all three.
The brother of her dead husband said to police: “My sister-in-law has told her family that she killed her husband, that she caught him sleeping with another woman, that she cleaned up the bullet cases and took care of the body.
But he then described Gambino as "moderately crazy, so we don’t know ... this isn't the first time she's made up stuff before."
Mr Gambino met the couple at at a motel nearby Charlotte, where the pair lived.
Gaston County Police Captain Curtis Rosselle told the Gaston Gazette : “These are people that met, had interaction and then came together.
"And then the third party did not like it and took action."
Gambino’s relationship with her husband had been going through a rough patch according to the Charlotte Observer.
In 2009, Crystal took out a restraining order against Mr Gambino and filed for divorce.
At some point during the same year he was accused with threatening his wife, but the charges were dropped.
Mr Gambino had strong ties to the local Republican party and ran campaigns for candidates.
Crystal Gambino is facing three counts of first-degree murder.
She is due in court on March 21.
