A mid-afternoon fire is reported to have engulfed the Police Barracks on Panti Street in Yaba, Lagos.The fire, which was said to have started around past 2 O’clock in the afternoon has consumed five flats, with occupants of the facility doing all they could to salvage their precious belongings from the disaster.
Witnesses to Daily Sun that officials of the Nigeria Fire Service are reportedly making effort to combat the raging inferno.
