Boko Haram: My life is ruined; it’s time to fight back – Ahmad Salkida

Ahmad Salkida, the Nigerian journalist who has access to leadership of the Boko Haram sect, has accused the Nigerian government of ruining his life and threatening that “it’s time to fight back”.According to Daily Post, In a series of tweet, the embattled journalist spoke on his next line of action.My life is ruined…I have been rendered homeless. I have been told that I have NO
rights at all, my family is scared. My crime is journalism,” he wrote on Twitter. “What kind of Govt will declare a citizen wanted for doing nothing but journalism, ruined my life and that of my family.

“I have been silent, I have given leaders the benefit of doubt, but now it is time to fight back while I can. My life is in DANGER!!!!”
Recently, security operatives believed to be members of the Department of State Services, DSS, arrested Salkida at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja.
The Army had declared Salkida, Aisha Wakil and a social worker, Ahmed Bolori, wanted over their links with Boko Haram insurgents, after the group released a video on August 14 showing the abducted Chibok girls.
