Visionless Govt: Reno Omokri reminds Osinbajo of statement against Jonathan

FOURTEEN months after taking over the reins of power in Aso Villa, former Special Assistant to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan on New Media, Reno Omokri has reminded Vice President Yemi Osinbajo of a statement credited to him countdown to the 2015 election, where he said “Jonathan was leading a visionless government.” According to Vanguard, Omokri, took to his Facebook page yesterday, asked Vice President Osinbajo if he may now have
seen that leading a nation like Nigeria was not
easy, particularly given the state of the nation under the current administration of President Muhammadu Buhari. Osinbajo was said to have made the scathing statement in a series of tweets via his verified Twitter handle @ProfOsinbajo on December 22, 2014.

The Vice President referring to the Jonathan’s administration then, wrote: “Nigeria is great and her citizens give so much, yet get nothing in return from today’s inadequate and visionless leadership.” But in a flashback yesterday, Omokri wrote: “After a year in power, Professor Yemi Osinbajo may now see it is not easy to lead a nation. “Does he still maintain this accusation against Goodluck Jonathan he made last year?
May I remind him that the two main achievements his boss (President Buhari) has celebrated in the last year are the Treasury Single Account and the commissioning of the Abuja-Kaduna fast rail. “Both of them were largely the hand work of the gentleman he called visionless.
My prayer is that the Vice President should read Psalm 15. As a man of God, he should know the implication of that Psalm.” However, the Goodnews Bible version of Psalm 15:1-5 reads: “LORD, who may enter your Temple? Who may worship on Zion, your sacred hill? “Those who obey God in everything and always do what is right, whose words are true and sincere, and who do not slander others…”
