Asante Kotoko coach, Malik Jabir, has claimed that the poor standard of
football in Ghana’s domestic league is because the players indulge in
too much sex, Daily Post reports.
The former Black Stars player says there has not been enough progress
as hoped, because players are always having sex before matches.
“A lot of today’s players cannot play 90 minutes because they get so tired easily,” he told a national radio station.
“And you know why? Because they don’t sleep enough and don’t train enough and they engage in too much sex.
“There are beautiful young girls in Ghana and they won’t leave them alone.”
Jabir, who also stated that players struggle to manage their time
properly, advised them to find a balance between football and sex.
He added: “There is time for sex and time for football, but if you mix the two you will never reach the top.”
